TakeQV (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in Schedule 1 of that Act.

This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and how you can access or correct information we hold about you.

2. What information we collect

We may collect:

• Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Payment information processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details.
• Usage data including projects created, videos generated, and feature interactions.
• Device and browser information for security and performance purposes.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• Provide and improve the TakeQV service.
• Send transactional emails (magic-link sign-in, receipts, system alerts).
• Comply with Australian legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Disclosure of information

We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery) who are contractually required to protect it. We do not disclose your information overseas except as disclosed at the point of collection.

5. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

6. Access and correction
